5 out of 5 stars Buy this book!   April 16, 2010

Great solutions manual! Don't buy the textbook without this manual as well as Vol. 2 for the second half of the book (if needed). I absolutely love this solutions manual. It has saved my life time and time again. It has also saved me so much time when I couldn't figure out a practice problem, then I knew how to do similar problems. Love it!

1 out of 5 stars boo not worth the money   June 24, 2009

I expected every other problem to be completely worked out so I would be able to understand the problems. I was wrong it was only select problems ex: 5, 9, 15, 21

4 out of 5 stars Not Good enough   November 28, 2008

I bought this only because my professor uses it but it is really lacking in answers. It isn't very productive when you have an even question for home work and your prof doesn't go over it in class. Makes you wonder whether you're right or not

2 out of 5 stars I don't think that this student solutions manual is that helpful   May 2, 2008

I don't think that this student solutions manual is that helpful because it doesn't have all the answers for odd questions. It only gives steps to those questions that have a square on them.

4 out of 5 stars Good as Far as it Goes   April 10, 2008

The solutions manual part of Volume 1 is good as far as it goes. The explanations are well written for the selected odd problems it covers. However, it does not cover an example of each type of problem.

I do recommend purchasing Volume 1 because over the duration of the course it does help to make clear the process of problem solving.
