This physics textbook is excellent. There are an abundance of diagrams that explain concepts; important formulas are highlighted in yellow (along with a summary at the end of the chapter); and in general it is easy to read and comprehend.
This is one of the only textbooks that makes the information so interesting, I would consider reading it for fun.

Book came as correct edition and version, but was very worn and featured a broken cover. It is still in good usable condition for the time being, just extremely worn.

This text is so much better than another physics textbook that I had to use for my first physics course. The authors for this book present physics topics in a manner that is very interesting (to those of us trying to like physics). The visuals are phenomenal and relate very much to the topics discussed. Most importantly, I would recommend this book because it contains a CengageNow online access code that allows you to go over each chapter, tests your understanding with practice questions and view explanation to the answers you provide!! For a course like physics, this online option is not only useful, it is a necessity!! I bet you that if you get this book you will have no regrets except for the price (I always feel discontented about expensive books regardless of whether they are excellently presented. Students need a break!)
