Really good Not Great. December 31, 2009 FuDog (USA) Thier is a tremendous amount of information in this volume and for that I give it four stars. I am an aviation mechanic who has looked to it as a reference more than once and not found the aviation word or term I was looking for. For that I cannot give it five stars. Still a valuable reference.
Great Reference!! May 4, 2009 G. Speake This is a great reference, whether you are new to aviation or an "oldtimer". Easy to read and easy to lookup.

This dictionary has everything you need in it. Im in A&P School and I use it every day. And other students borrow it on a regulay basis. It keeps me from running to the computer every time I need to understand something.
Worthwhile for a mechanic May 28, 2007 Jedidiah (Portland, OR) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a required book for my A&P program. We haven't used it a ton but it has definitely come in handy from time to time. Some of the definitions are circular -- two definitions each referring to the other -- but for the most part they are clear and concise, quite helpful.

My A&P instructor commonly touts this dictionary and highly recommends it. I haven't purchased one yet, but he is certainly more qualified then I am to recommend it.
